I’m trying to get a plugin running, iThemes Sync, if it matters.
It’s been a long time since I’ve worked on a website on a localhost server/pc/computer. It looks like there are a couple ways to get to the localhost root in my web browser, either “localhost”, or “127.0.0.1” will work. Once there my .dev website is listed, click the link and I’m there. Okay.
I think what I need is the full address to the .dev website on my localhost, i.e. “localhost/websites/www.mysite.dev”, or something like that. I think I need to know that because I think the plugin tries to connect online (internet) version of http://www.mysite.dev which isn’t going to work.
I am trying to sync the online and offline versions of my website. I have started a ticket with the plugin developers, but I am hoping there might be a solution here that will help me point the plugin to the localhost server copy of the website.
