      Hi all,

Newbie question…just getting started with DesktopServer…what a product.

Is it possible to access a dev site running on DesktopServer from another device on the LAN? I am attempting to but am getting a blank screen in the browser when I enter the local IP address of the device on which DesktopServer is running. I had hoped to either get access to the main Development Websites page or be able to qualify the URL with a /<dev_site_name> to go directly to the dev site. In either case, I get a blank screen but the regular ServerPress icon shows up in the Chrome tab so I suspect it’s trying to resolve to a page. I’ve turned off the firewall on the DesktopServer device to no effect. Any help would be appreciated.

      thanks,
      Dwight

      Hello Dwight,

Take a look at these docs:

      http://docs.serverpress.com/article/56-using-lan-sharing-for-mobile-device-testing
      http://docs.serverpress.com/article/179-windows-10-only-shares-ipv6-address

Please let us know if this does not resolve the issue or if you need further assistance.
