DesktopServer Debug Trace By ServerPress

Featuring Debug and Trace

I’ve talked about Airplane Mode and Bypass Login. Today, I want to share another favorite feature of mine, DesktopServer Debug & Trace.

As Developers, we know sometimes WordPress breaks. We’ve all been there. We know that when we see that “White Screen of Death” we’ve done something to it. But what? In ancient times, one would go to the wp-config.php file and set the WP_DEBUG option to True. And then, one would proceed to forget to turn it off before deployment. This plugin turns Debug and Trace on for ALL of your local sites, but once you’ve shipped the site, the debug doesn’t go with it. No entries to your wp-config.php makes it one less thing you have to remember.
