Sorry for asking what seems like an obvious question. I am using a Mac and cannot locate the files. I want to manually move files from one finder window into my ServerPress installation and cannot figure out how.

Hi KJCC, did you have a look at our instructions page at http://serverpress.com/news/how-to/how-to-install-desktopserver/ ? Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Yes, I did. I don’t see anything there that has to do with my question.

I have looked in the Blueprint folder and that does not have the plugins I installed after I created my local environment. I cannot see anywhere else that they could be. Please advise.

When you create a website, the files are typically found in your Documents\Websites\www.example.dev (where ‘www.example.dev’ is the url you created). For installing plugins, it would be inside your ‘www.example.dev\wp-content\plugins folder’

Wonderful! Thank you Stephen. Has that been discussed publicly or is it in the docs somewhere that I missed? It seems like pretty important information.

There is not an official DesktopServer user guide at this time. However, for WordPress specific information you may wish to book mark http://codex.wordpress.org. It will give you more insight into the WordPress self hosted basics, file system, and more advanced topics. When walking through the wizard, you can define where you would like your WordPress files to be located for the fictitious URL that you create.
