Hi,
I downloaded the the latest ServerPress to my Mac running on Lion. It is an awesome tool by the way.
I was so excited to read that there is now Dreamweaver support and I watched the video. For some reason I do not have the Dreamweaver option at all. I thought maybe I downloaded the wrong ServerPress so deleted it off my system and downloaded and installed again – but that option is still not there.
Am I doing something wrong or am I missing something?
Thank you so much for your help
Warmly

January 20, 2012 at 12:02 pm #3045Hi Caroline,
When you start DesktopServer, have a look at the title bar just above the blue striped banner. Does it say DesktopServer or DesktopServer Limited? Also, on the main options page in DesktopServer, you should see 5 options vs 3. The first option should be to “Stop or restart…”. The Dreamweaver should be located after you click next from that option.Regards,

Thank you for your quick response.
It actually says DesktopServer.Limited.
Does that mean that I have the wrong one? I downloaded this after logging in – is this correct?
There are only the 3 options showing.

CarolineJanuary 20, 2012 at 12:39 pm #3048I just checked the download page and I noticed that there are two downloads – one for limited and one for premium. I didn’t notice that before and only now realized when I scroll down the premium version is there.
Boy do I feel silly.
I’ll uninstall and start again. No wonder I was having issues.
Thank you so much!!!!

Just deleted the files and downloaded and installed the correct version this time.
It is still not giving the Dreamweaver option.
There are now 5 options:
Stop or start web database services
Remove or copy a site
Create a new development site
create or edit multisite
export or import website.No Dreamweaver.
Do you think I should have Dreamweaver running in order for this to show?
Caroline.
January 20, 2012 at 1:40 pm #3053Hi Caroline,
I’m sorry for the confusion. Please be sure to follow each of these steps carefully.1) Start DesktopServer
2) Select the first option “Stop or start web database services”
3) Select “Restart the web and database services” (very important)
4) Check off the “Enable Dreamweaver support” checkbox
5) Click NextI’ve attached a screenshot to better illustrate this.
